In Vivo Micro-CT Imaging Services Our in vivo micro-computed tomography (micro-CT) imaging service is tailored for small animal live imaging studies. By acquiring 2D projection images across 180° to 360°, we reconstruct high-resolution 3D volumetric datasets. Synchronization with physiological monitoring—such as visual tracking, respiratory gating, and electrocardiography (ECG)—is employed to mitigate motion artifacts caused by breathing and cardiac activity.
In addition to reconstructing 2D and 3D anatomical cross-sections, the system enables four-dimensional (4D) dynamic imaging for time-series analysis of live animal models. Quantitative 3D data can be used to assess bone mineral density, tissue area, volume, density, thickness, and various morphometric parameters.
The maximum achievable resolution for live imaging is 9 µm. Service conditions—including animal acceptance, handling, and housing—are determined on a case-by-case basis. Service fees are calculated based on scanning time, analysis duration, consumables, and animal housing requirements, subject to mutual agreement.
